Design Downtown Denton was adopted by City Council on September 17, 2024 to update Denton's Comprehensive Plan. The plan will guide the next generation of Downtown’s priorities, including parks and open space, mobility, development, housing, arts and culture, historic preservation, and will create connections to and opportunities for Downtown's neighboring communities.

The plan was developed over more than a year and reflects the input from thousands of Dentonites. The videos to the right detail the progress of the plan.
